The LSU Feist Weiller Cancer Center – Shreveport, part of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, was designated as a Center for Excellence in Cancer Research, Treatment, and Education in 1993. It is accredited by the Joint Commission, American College of Radiation, and the Accountable Care Organizations.
The 60,000-square-foot multidisciplinary outpatient facility houses the Clinical Cancer Research program, which offers more than 100 clinical trials. In addition to advanced treatments and clinical research, the LSU Feist Weiller Cancer Center offers patient education, support groups and other important resources.
